Growing up in Whatcom county led me to Bellingham Technical College, where I obtained my Applied Associates Degree in Automotive Technology. Once graduated, I was employed at a local Automotive Dealership as a Technician. Gaining quality experience and knowledge in the maintenance and repairs of Japanese and domestic vehicles. In that time I also studied to earn a Master Technician Certification from ASE successfully.

In 2016 I decided to venture out and pursue my dreams of starting an auto repair shop business. I pride myself in knowing that I am doing what I love, at the same time helping people receive the best possible care for their vehicles. Activities I enjoy outside of work are biking, motorcycling, snowboarding, pretending to fish, DIY projects around the house, and most of all I enjoy learning and teaching new skills.

Rich Miller
Manager / Service Advisor

I have been in the automotive industry since I was young. I have been the Service Advisor at Lucky’s Auto Shop since 2017. I strive to make sure every customer leaves satisfied with the work we have performed here at Lucky’s Auto Shop. I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my motorcycle, and four wheeling.

Lead Technician

I got started with cars because my Father has been a mechanic for the last 40 years. When I was younger I would help him out with projects on his own vehicles. After high school I went through the automotive program at Bellingham Technical College.

My focus has been on Japanese vehicles and I worked at a Japanese Specialty shop for 5 years before coming to Lucky’s Auto Shop in 2018. I enjoy hiking, scuba diving, traveling, and riding my motorcycle.

Service Technician

All my life I’ve been obsessed with cars. I took auto shop throughout High School, and also rebuilt an engine on my first car. Then, life took me a different direction. I graduated from Oregon State University with a BS of Science in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. After a few years of adventure guiding, wildland forest fighting and arbory, my original passion reignited, so I ended up back in the Northwest at Bellingham Technical College pursuing a second degree in Automotive Technology, and I’m never looking back. While I enjoy working on and driving many different vehicles my favorite is definitely Japanese cars, for their simplistic engineering approach and unique style.
